New staff at Midland Computers

Two new appointments have been made at one of the region's leading IT specialists, Midland Computers.

As Microsoft Gold Partners with Microsoft Accredited engineers, Midland Computers Ltd, provides professional IT sales, installation and support to a wide variety of businesses both locally and nationwide.

The Telford-based firm is undergoing a continued expansion campaign and has recruited two new professionals to key positions within the company.

Ian Skelton, formerly of Telford, has previously worked for a large regional charity and a number of IT businesses, has been appointed as Marketing Manager, with responsibilities to develop the business throughout the local commercial and domestic market.

Ian commented: "Midland Computers has a tremendous reputation throughout the area and I am very excited at the prospect of progressing that image further and showcasing our services to a wider audience."

Dave Cox, from Dawley, has over 10 years experience in the IT industry, having previously worked for website design and computer hardware companies in both Shrewsbury and Telford, has joined the sales staff at Midland Computers as a Sales Executive and Account Manager. Dave was attracted to the role Midland Computers due to the full range of IT products and services the company offers, being truly a 'one-stop-shop' for local companies requiring fully accredited and specialist IT support.

Sales manager Manager Nick Dodd added: "We are constantly working on expanding our current customer base and have several new and exciting projects in the pipeline which we want to promote.

"We have therefore created these new positions to further expand and highlight the range of hardware, software, development and web hosting facilities that we offer."
