Dalek seeks bed for the night!

Dalek Kahn, from the original BBC Dr Who series, wishes to attend the WH Smiths book signing for author Nigel Goodall’s latest biography of David Tennant – the most recent Dr Who.  The event is part of the forthcoming Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival 2010 (27th August – 5th September).

Cobra Events who own the Dalek have very kindly offered Kahn’s services for free and the festival only has to find travel expenses to and from Brighton (£160) – plus a night’s accommodation for Kahn and his driver.

The festival is looking for a Dr Who fan who might be able to help with sponsoring this particular event.

(UPDATE: Nick Dodd from Midland Computers http://midlandcomputers.com has been in touch offering to sponsor the Dalek visit and is currently negotiating accommodation - a BIG thank you to Nick and Midland Computers for their support).

Dalek Kahn is reportabley very excited about visiting our town and promises not to exterminate any Bridgnorth residents.  Kahn explains that he is not good with climbing stairs and would prefer ground floor accommodation or a lift.
