Telford company launches new website and e-commerce shop…

27-07-2010

Midland Computers of Telford, one of the region’s leading computer and IT support providers, has launched a new website and e-commerce shop.

The user-friendly site has been designed by the Halesfield firm’s in-house web team, using the latest software programmes to enable ease of search, pricing and ordering.

The new retail service will enable customers to access on-line over 30,000 items, ranging from a basic USB cable up to a state-of-the-art computer server.

Midland Computer account manager Mike Haycox said: "We are very excited about the launch of this new website and the e-commerce shop, which is also now used by our internal sales team as a price list reference and to compile specifications."

"It has a direct feed from our three major UK suppliers and our own software will search for the best price and then update changes every night.

"This means that people can now specify any combination of parts to create their own bespoke computer. We will build it for them and, as with all the products purchased, it can then be dispatched direct or collected from our specialist showroom at Sovereign Park on Halesfield."
