MIDLAND ACTIVE is our brand new service that is available to ALL of our customers, and is included for free upon renewal or commencement of some maintenance contracts.

What is MIDLAND ACTIVE?

In short, it is a fully automated daily server health check service that catches small problems - before they cause big disasters! All detected problems are notified directly to our Microsoft Certified Engineers, who will then contact you to inform you of the issue and recommend a resolution to prevent the problem from causing you any downtime.

In most cases we will be aware of faults before you are. Our system is fully automated and actively checks your systems, spots problems and alerts us, so that we can respond and rectify them before they cause your business to grind to a halt.

What is Included:

• Backup Check: Checks your backup to make sure the job has completed
• A/V Check: Checks your anti-virus to make sure you're right up to date and protected
• Exchange Check: Prevents it from hitting its limit and going down
• Disk Growth: Spots if something untoward is filling your disks or wasting your company storage
• Disk Health Check: Checks if your disks are starting to physically fail
• Disk Space Check: Checks and monitors your available disk space
• Windows Critical Services: Checks default critical Windows services and reports back
• Hacker Check: Checks to see if someone is attempting to access your server
• Critical Events Check: Checks critical events and reports any errors back to our engineers so they can assess and resolve
• RAID Check: Ensures all your RAID disks are in good working order. If they're not, we will contact you for permission to attend for immediate rectification.

Client Confidence:

Daily you will receive a short email saying "Here's what we checked this morning, and here's the results." The benefit of this is that you will know that all of your systems are running, along with a status report of your server's health.

And it doesn't stop there... your systems are monitored every 15 minutes with the results being sent back immediately to Midland, and displayed live on our alerts dashboard.
