Midland Internet primarily serves businesses and offers unbeatable expertise, knowledge and support. Services range from simple shared hosting solutions, through to hosting your own private server, supported with management, monitoring and support. The web servers support all major programming languages and database support. All data is backed up nightly to our multi-Terabyte storage network.

Midland Internet, our own ISP (Internet Service Provider), was primarily developed to allow Midland Computers to have a fully controlled and self-reliant Internet services provision. Our company relies heavily on its own Internet services, so you can be assured that we take every precaution to keep our connections stable, secure and fast. This makes Midland Internet quite different in an overcrowded ISP market as we have a vested interest in maintaining our own service.

We have four hosting options

Shared Hosting

Shared hosting is our entry level hosting package. Your website is hosted on one of our dedicated hosting servers, sharing the resources of the server, including bandwidth, memory and CPU with other customers on the same server. Each website is given its own unique IP address, allowing you to have your own SSL certificate for online trading. Ideal for low traffic sites and people who are new to e-commerce.

Dedicated Hosting

Dedicated hosting allows your site to be hosted on your own Linux server located in our data centre. Each virtual server has its own dedicated resources and so is not affected by the hardware uses of other virtual machines on the same host server, ideal for sites that want the flexibility of custom hosting but not the cost of a physical server.

Physical Machine

Physical Machine hosting is provided using a dedicated Dell server located in our data centre. The server is not shared by anyone so all the resources and bandwidth are allocated to your site, increasing the performance over shared and dedicated hosting. The server is maintained by Midland Computers so there is no need to worry about upgrades or hardware failures. Ideal for sites with large volumes of traffic or CPU usage requirements.

High Performance Clustered

Cluster hosting replicates your site across multiple servers, eliminating downtime in the event of a hardware failure. Each cluster can run any number of servers as required. Each server has its own resources and bandwidth allowing different components to be spread across different servers. Ideal for sites that run 24x7 relying on their online presence for trading.
