downgrade rights

Run XP legally with a Windows 7 licence

Through the implementation of Downgrade Rights, Microsoft have provided a method to all customers buying a new PC with Windows 7 pre-installed to downgrade to Windows XP.

This is ideal if your business environment is not yet ready to implement Windows 7 - you can run a familiar operating system for now, but have a Windows 7 licence ready for when you do upgrade.

This leaves any new machines you purchase for your business fully future proofed and reduces costs by allowing your staff to work on newer, faster and compatible PCs, but without having to duplicate licensing costs.

Downgrade Rights with Windows 7 means you do not have to put off buying a new PC for your business until you are ready to upgrade the whole system.

How Midland Computers can help

*If possible. Some notebooks may not have XP driver support
