Data Cleanse

• Deleting a file only removes the reference. • Emptying the recycle bin just deletes the "pointers" to a file. The file remains on the hard disk until overwritten. • Formatting a drive just prepares a drive for being used again. It doesn't overwrite the existing data. • Deleting a file simply splits the drive, but your original data is still available for recovery.
