Midland Computers – COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan
We know your business depends on the ability of Midland Computers to provide reliable, prompt service. In light of the recent developments around Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we would like to share with you the measures we are taking to ensure service continuity.
Coronavirus - Be Prepared
Are you prepared if you can't get in to work?
As the government prepares to make further announcements today, are you prepared if you or your colleagues have to work remotely? Do you have the correct IT set up? Do you have the correct hardware and software?
If there is a day that you or your staff cannot get into work, can you still work remotely? Can you access the files you need… the quotes you saved… the emails you sent?
At Midland Computers we are experts in setting up companies and users for remote access. If you are unsure call us now on 01952 588688 to discuss how you currently work and what we can do for you.
ACTION REQUIRED - Do you have any Windows 7 PCs left? The operating system is now end of life meaning your security could be compromised.
We will be open 10 am till 2 pm on the 23rd December 2019 then we will be closed until 8:30 am on the 2nd January 2020 - Our last shipping date to customers is the 19th December 2019. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year
Midland Computers Recovery Simulation Test - How well are you looking after your data?
It’s your business’s lifeblood, and you are only ever as good as your last backup. Where is it? How frequently is it backed up? Perhaps most importantly, what is your IT Disaster Recovery Plan, and how can you provide evidence of having it? These questions are particularly important if you hold (or are seeking to gain) ISO certification, as for a number of ISO requirements you will need to prove that your business has prepared for if the worst should happen.
